August 14, 2023- Everything Will Turn Out Well In The End

And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. -Romans 8:28

When I first went to college, I felt like I had to find a church. I asked one of the ladies that I worked if she knew of a church that I could attend. She said I will come and pick you up for Sunday School. I grew up in the tradition where Sunday School started at 9:30 AM. What I did not know was they started at a later time than what I was used to. I was waiting in my dorm room lobby for almost two hours trying to get to church. I remembered that a mentor shared with me the name of a church. I looked it up in the phone book and called the number to find the location. I called the wrong number. I continued to look in the phone book for a place that sounded like a place that I attended. I called and a sweet lady answered. She gave me directions and I went there to worship. It turned out to be one of the best things that every happened in my life. Every significant moment in my ministry occurred there. I became chair of deacons, youth director, and answered my call to ministry. I even got reunited with my future wife in this place. What started off as an inconvenience, turned out leading me to the place that changed my life.

You may be experiencing some things in your life right now that you don’t know how it’s going to work out. The inconveniences, the struggles, the storms, and situations that you may find yourself in are producing something in your life that will take you to greater. The thing to remember with this promise is that things will work out if you love God and are called to His purpose. If you love Him, the things that you are facing will produce some life changing situations for you. It may not look like it right now, but everything will turn out well in the end.
