Get Involved With Ministry

The Deacon Ministry exists to handle the business matters of the church. Their qualifications and responsibilities are outlined in Acts 6:1-7 and 1 Timothy 3:1-13. In order for one to become a part of the Deacon Ministry, the church must examine him and meet the qualifications listed in 1 Timothy 3.

The Music Ministry exists to enhance the worship experience and usher in the presence of God. This ministry  exists to sing songs that are to the glory, honor, and praise of God.

The Dance Ministry exists to enhance the worship experience and usher in the presence of God. The praise dance ministry exists to worship God through dance and mime in an appreciation for what God has done for us.

Joshua 1:9 – Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.

The Joshua Generation exists to help grow our youth in their faith. This ministry is designed to help our youth be strong and courageous for Christ and not be ashamed of who He is in their life. 

Titus 2: 1-2, 6-8 – But as for you, teach what accords with sound doctrine. Older men are to be sober-minded, dignified, self-controlled, sound in faith, in love, and in steadfastness. Likewise, urge the younger men to be self-controlled. Show yourself in all respects to be a model of good works, and in your teaching show integrity, dignity, and sound speech that cannot be condemned, so that an opponent may be put to shame, having nothing evil to say about us.

The Brotherhood Ministry exists to exemplify this scripture. The mission is to encourage fellow brothers to be sober- minded, dignified, self-controlled, sound in faith, in love, and in perseverance. They are to also teach the younger men to do the same and become role models for them. 

Proverbs 31: 25-26, 30 – Strength and dignity are her clothing, and she laughs at the time to come. She opens her mouth with wisdom and the teaching of kindness is on her tongue. Charm is deceitful, and beauty is vain, but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised.
The Mission/ Women’s Ministry exists to encourage women to become women of strong faith, dignity, and wisdom. They are also to teach the younger women to do the same thing and be role models for the young girls in the church and community.
 

The Food ministry exists to help the community with a basic necessity of life. We strive to provide those who may be struggling with food insecurities a resource to help ease that struggle. The Food Ministry is always looking for volunteers to help with our drive through food bank,

The Media Ministry exists to help spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ beyond the four walls of the church. This ministry involves the sound, live streaming, and social media of the church. If you love taking pictures and being involved on social media, we would love to have you as a part of our Media Ministry.
