April 14, 2023- My Mourning Will Be Turned Into Dancing

“You have turned for me my mourning into dancing; You have put off my sackcloth and clothed me with gladness,” -Psalms‬ ‭30‬:‭11‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

If you ever want to learn some valuable lessons, watch children. They will sometimes show you everything you need to know about life. The way they approach things. The way they investigate things. Sometimes, even the way they tear up things. One thing I vividly remember was how some children would react to popsicles. They would be going to town on the popsicle and all of a sudden, it breaks and falls on the ground. The loss of that popsicle turns into a tragic event. The child begins to cry and throws a fit due to the fact that they no longer has a popsicle. The grief has set in. Then, something great happens in the life of the child. Another popsicle finds its way into the life of the child. The child no longer has tears but smiles and cheers are now heard. The mourning has been turned into dancing.

When we look our lives, we all have had some broken popsicle moments in our lives. Moments when our loss have sent us into a state of mourning. A state of sadness. A position where we are unsure if we will come back from it. But, there is a moment when God brings a new popsicle and it changes our outlook on life. Our mourning has turned into to dancing. When God comes in and changes our perspective, you can’t help but get excited. The difference between mourning and morning is u. Allow Him to work on “u” to change the state in your life.
