August 8, 2023- God Cares For Me; I Can Give Him My Anxieties.

“casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.” -1 Peter‬ ‭5‬:‭7‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Have you ever seen an elderly woman trying to carry her groceries? It sometimes is a struggle for her because she may not have the strength to carry them all. However, she has to somehow find a way to get them to the car. These are things that she needs in order to make it through the day, the week, and perhaps maybe the month. Someone walks by and sees her struggling. They offer to help because they don’t want to see her in this situation. No one wants to see her get hurt carrying the weight of a problem that she doesn’t have to carry.

God sees us carrying the weight of life and wants to help us out. We have to allow ourselves to let Him do that. As a matter of fact, he tells us  in verse 6 to humble ourselves so that He may exalt us. We cannot let pride get in our way and we not get what we need. God wants to take our burdens and everything that is causing us problems. Why? Because He cares for us. God loves you enough to say all of your worries and anxieties I will take so that you can focus on the purpose that I have for you. That issue, that problem, that person, that family member, give it to God. He cares that much.
