April 16, 2023- I Belong to God. He Will Deliver Me.

“The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, And saves such as have a contrite spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, But the Lord delivers him out of them all.” -Psalms‬ ‭34‬:‭18‬-‭19‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Have you ever experienced a broken heart? Do you remember the pain that you experienced? Do you remember how hard it was to do every day tasks? Do you remember tears rolling down your face? Maybe you always had questions as to why did this have to happen to me. Perhaps you never wanted to leave the house. Now imagine going through all of this alone. Just think about now having anyone to help you get through this struggle? No one to say it’s going to ok. No one to wrap their arms around you. No one to wipe the tears from your eyes. There are some things that you shouldn’t have to deal with alone.

And guess what, you don’t. The Lord is with you. That’s the promise that we have. It’s a beautiful thing to know that there are some things I don’t have to do alone. Not only will He be there, He delivers us from whatever it is causing us problems. In this life, you will experience a lot. Here’s the comfort of it all, God’s got you.
