Trust in the Lord with all your heart,And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your path. -Proverbs 3: 5-6

Nowadays , it's really difficult to know in which direction we should  go. Most of us are somewhat hesitant to believe that God is able to literally direct and guide our steps here on planet Earth. Many say that just trusting in Him is enough. We take this verse as  metaphor and don't take it literal.

I think most of us think that if we trust God enough we will end up where we're supposed to be. But I want you to think just for a moment on Genesis 7:8-9. The word says

"Of clean animals, of animals that are unclean, of birds, and of everything that creeps on the earth, two by two they went into the ark to Noah, male and female, as God had commanded Noah."

You may ask what in the world does this have to do with anything? Let me share. We all know that in the natural is very difficult to train animals especially those who live in the wild. Can you imagine the thoughts of Noah when God had commanded him to build an ark and then to fill it with two of every creature on earth.? If we only see this in the natural then we see it as impossible. Who could have the ability to train two of every animal on planet Earth to follow him into an ark? How much time would that take ? Infinity ? But see, that's how we think. It's impossible.

But let me tell you that the word of God said that they went in two by two into the ark. That means that God spoke to those wild animals and they obeyed and walked into that ark on their own, two by two. Now,  if God can guide the steps of wild beast, I guess the real problem is us.

I understand the guidance of our steps is not impossible because of God, for with God nothing is impossible, but it can be impossible because of ourselves.
 
How sad that a beautiful and wonderful miracle can happen for the most ferocious untamed beasts, but because of our lack of faith and obedience, we are wondering around aimlessly lost in the desert. God can and will direct our paths, but we must must be in full trust and obedience to complete this promise.
