Psalms 91:7

As I reflect on this past year, the holy spirit put this very familiar passage before me so vividly.

A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee. -Psalm 91:7

We as a nation saw so many suffer at the hands of an uncontrollable virus, but many in the kingdom didn’t fall. God said to me, the ones who still have work to do, the ones who I called to carry the faith for others would survive. Although it was hard for us to see it that way, the Holy Spirit was clear by giving me this example to sum up the year. If by faith we choose God and as our protector, our strength and our guide. We will find that all we need and desire will be found in him and him alone. Understanding Satan’s method -in John 10:10-The thief comes only to steal kill and destroy. But I came says the Lord, that they may have life and have it abundantly.  Verse 11 says, for I am the good shepherd. The kingdom and God’s staff is protected by grace from all devices of the enemy in any season we come across.  As I reflect, I was many snares of fowler, I witness the cankerworms rip through our nation. God said hold on to my unchanging hand, I will not leave you nor forsake my kingdom. What you are witnessing is my taking control of my kingdom and putting things in place as they should be. So do not be afraid or dismay of what it looked like in 2020. For 2021 is the year the kingdom will recover all. Momentum says the Lord!
